What is Alanine Beta?
Alanine beta (or beta-alanine) is a naturally occurring beta amino acid, which is an amino acid in which the amino group is attached to the β-carbon (i.e. the carbon two atoms away from the carboxylate group) instead of the more usual α-carbon for alanine (α-alanine).
The IUPAC name for β-alanine is 3-aminopropanoic acid. Unlike its counterpart α-alanine, best beta alanine has no stereocenter.

Alanine Beta Uses
1. Improve production performance
At present, the reported results of the effect of alanine beta on animal performance are inconsistent. There are slightly more studies on poultry, but the exact effects are inconclusive.
2. Regulation of imidazole dipeptide content in chicken
Carnosine is an endogenous functional dipeptide, mainly present in skeletal muscle and bone, with biological activities such as stabilizing intracellular pH, inhibiting lipid peroxidation, scavenging free radicals, and regulating calcium. Studies have shown that adding 0.5% alanine to the feed can increase the carnosine content of broiler chicken legs by 45%, and adding 1% can increase the carnosine content of breast muscle by 20%.
3. Improve chicken quality
Beta alanine capsules or powder can increase muscle fiber density and chicken tenderness, reduce muscle fiber diameter, reduce fat oxidation and stress, and improve chicken quality.
4. Improve the antioxidant capacity of chicken
